In August, to celebrate Women’s Month, the LiPLAB team accepted the challenge to do the unthinkable. For years we swore we would never attempt large-scale lipstick workshops – the logistics seemed impossible, the numbers overwhelming, and the thought of managing hundreds of lipsticks at once felt like madness.

But this Women’s Month, we proved ourselves wrong.

From Impossible to Possible

We started by pooling all our equipment from across the regions and rethinking how we set up, facilitated, and supported each session. With preparation, a few key adjustments, and sheer willpower, we achieved what once felt out of reach: a single lipstick workshop with 150 guests.

And then, we pushed it even further.

The 200-Guest Mega Workshop

The energy was electric as we welcomed 200 guests into a single workshop. Both facilitators were in full force: while one collected trays of lipsticks to set, the other was already setting up an additional table for just over 30 more participants. The workshop continued without pause, as clean-up was handled in the background and guests kept mixing, pouring, and creating.

Lipsticks were poured, frozen by our guests… and carefully demoulded by the LiPLAB team. It was intense, but it worked.

600 Lipsticks in 3 Days/3 Workshops

Across three days, we facilitated just over 600 lipsticks being created. Each one was mixed, poured, set, and finished while having fun. What felt impossible before suddenly became proof of what’s achievable when passion meets teamwork.

Why It Matters

Women’s Month is about strength, resilience, and celebrating what women can achieve together. For us at LiPLAB, these mega-workshops were a symbol of exactly that. They showcased not only the creativity of our guests but also the determination and grit of our team.

What started as a daring experiment turned into one of the proudest achievements in LiPLAB’s history. And the best part? Every person walked away with a one-of-a-kind lipstick – a little piece of colour, creativity, and confidence.
