We’re bringing our fun lipstick-making workshops to the South Coast for the holidays—and you’re invited!

In partnership with The SOOQ at Bloom Health & Beauty Spa, Umdoni Lifestyle Centre, Pennington, LipLab is hosting a fun lipstick workshop that’s all about colour and creativity. Over the course of 2 fun-filled hours, you’ll mix, pour, and mould your very own lipsticks with us before snapping pics with our signature lip shaped mirrors!

Whether you’re a local or just visiting the coast for some well-deserved downtime, this is the perfect holiday activity to enjoy with friends, family, or even solo.

We supply everything you need to craft your own lipstick, from a natural base to vibrant cosmetic colors and all the tools required. The workshop runs for approximately 2 hours depending on number of attendees.

Important Lipstick Workshop Notice

  • Please note that individuals with allergies to mica, nuts, or beeswax will not be able to participate in the workshop.
  • The workshop involves the use of melted wax, hot metal tools, and an open flame (tea candle). Appropriate caution is advised.
  • Children must be supervised at all times. No minors will be allowed to participate without a parent or guardian present.

Included in the Lipstick-Making Workshop

  • Make your own (1) lipstick during our workshop with a natural lipstick base, color pigments, and equipment.

We provide a natural lipstick base, cosmetic colours, and all necessary equipment for the workshop. The session usually lasts about 2 hours. During the first hour, participants mix their lipstick colour and pour the mixture into the lipstick moulds. After that, the lipsticks are frozen for about 30 minutes. The final part of the workshop is dedicated to transferring the lipstick into the tubes.

Excluded from the Lipstick-Making Workshop

  • Any additional drinks or food are for your own account

Terms and Conditions

  • Any allergies to mica, nut, or beeswax products will mean that you cannot attend the workshop.
  • Any changes to attendance must be communicated directly to the event organisers via email or WhatsApp.
  • Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being during the event and must follow all instructions from the organizers. The organizers are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred by participants during the event.
  • Any disruptive behavior or actions that jeopardise the safety or experience of other participants will not be tolerated, and the participant may be asked to leave the event without a refund.
  • The workshop is a fun experience and not a course to start your own commercial lipstick business.

Cancellation Terms for Lipstick Workshop

  • In order to provide the best possible experience, the Lipstick Workshop requires a minimum of 20 booked tickets to proceed. Should the total number of bookings fall below this threshold, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. Participants will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop date are non-refundable unless the organisers cancel the event. For cancellations made 15 days or more in advance, a 15% cancellation fee applies.
